Walking for Health & Fun
Many of us know how great walking is for our health and environment, but are we aware of how to walk with ease and efficiency so we get maximum enjoyment out of this fun and functional activity?
This workshop will give a brief overview of the joints and muscles that are used in the act of walking. Then we’ll go through 20 exercises to “oil up” our joints, stretch and strengthen the “walking muscles” and integrate this information into our walking. All of this can deepen our understanding and skill on how to walk with awareness and ease. Come ready to move.
